The dam offers excellent water sport activities. Ranging from boasting and sailing to trout fishing in the nearly streams. It is the habitat of the mountain rhebuck, but oribi and reedbuck are also be seen while the Bald Ibis, Blue and White Bellied Korhaan are conspicuous on the grassy slopes.
