Description

Situated in the Champagne Valley of The Central Drakensberg. A small mountain retreat with stunning scenery. Uninterrupted views of the mountains - Champagne Castle, Cathkin Peak and Sterkhorn.
The atmosphere is one of peaceful, tranquil ambience.

Cottage no. 10 at Inkungu Estates is luxuriously furnished. It is a three bedroom cottage which consists of a main bedroom with queen size double bed with spa bath shower ensuite. Bedroom 2 also has
a queen size double bed with shower ensuite. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
There is a separate shower toilet and basin. Kitchen is very well equipped with the latest appliances. Lounge with a central gas coal-look-a-like fire place between lounge and dining room, large screen DSTV within a cabinet. There is a built in braai on the deck.

This cottage also has a dishwasher and washing machine and dryer.

Directions

DIRECTIONS TO INKUNGU LODGE: Suggested route from Johannesburg refers: Take the KWA KWA/BERGVILLE road from HARRISMITH. Make sure you don’t go through to Kwa Kwa, but turn left at the first BERGVILLE turn-off. This will take you past the STERKFONTEIN dam (on your RIGHT) past LITTLE SWITZERLAND and on to BERGVILLE. Pass BERGVILLE on your left and on to WINTERTON. As you enter WINTERTON, turn right into the R600. +You will pass a big INKUNGU signboard on your left (20km to go). Another INKUNGU signboard at the crossroads. THOKOZISA tourist complex on your left. *Keep straight on the R600 past the CHAMPAGNE SPORTS RESORT on your left, and past the DRAKENSBERG SUN turn off on your left. Another 500 m or so you will see another INKUNGU signboard on your left. Turn onto that road (D19) Golf course on your left. After the single lane bridge turn into the road on the left and follow the signs from there for 2,4 km. There are a set of large wrought-iron gates on the right before you get to the end of the road. Phone 084 INKUNGU for someone to let you in. Veer left to the lodge. From Durban on the N3, take the ESTCOURT NORTH off-ramp. Turn left on to the R10 which will take you past the GIANT’S CASTLE turn-off on your left and on past LOSKOP residential area to the cross roads at THOKOZISA. Turn left here into the R600. Follow the directions as per the * above. Alternative route is to take the WINTERTON off-ramp off the N3. Go through WINTERTON and take the R600, turning left now. Follow as per the + above.
