Description

t faces onto the southern Drakensberg with an unimpeded view of Hodgson’s Peak and Sani Pass.

It has three bedrooms: African Spoonbill en suite with shower, hand basin & toilet, Generic Owl en suite with shower, hand basin & toilet and Secretarybird which has exclusive use of a bathroom with bath, hand basin & toilet. Each bedroom has two single beds which can be placed side by side, if so desired, and each bed has an electric blanket and more than adequate bedding for the coldest winter’s night. The cottage has a small kitchen but a large lounge and dining area. The kitchen has a two-plate gas stove, a two plate electric stove, a small oven, a microwave oven, a toaster and a kettle, a fridge and enough cutlery and crockery for eight visitors.

The Rondavel

The Rondavel, on the left, Craignish Cottage on the right. The Rondavel is a small circular building with two single beds en suite with a hand basin, toilet and shower. (It is used mainly by tour guides who wish to escape from their tour group!)

It can comfortably house two visitors and has its own kettle and provisions for making tea and coffee.
