Description

The Farmhouse Lodge is situated 3 minutes from the centre of the town of Newcastle in magnificent parklike surroundings. We are an ideal stopover between Kruger Park and the KwaZulu-Natal Coast. German spoken. A total of 28 guests can be accommodated in a combination of air-conditioned family, twin and double rooms. We have 11 suites in total, 4 deluxe/family rooms with lounge area, bath and shower, 6 well appointed en-suite double/twin bedrooms and 1 rondavel. All rooms have internet connection, satellite TV, fridges, overhead fans and tea/coffee/chocolate facilities. We serve a delicious breakfast, which will keep you going for the day.

Directions from JHB and Durban: From Ladysmith: Turn left into Allen St, first left into Hilldrop From Volksrust: Pass Albert Wessels Drive turn off, turn right into Allen St, first left into Hilldrop From Vrede/Memel: As you enter Newcastle turn right at first set of robots (Allen St), drive over Ncandu River Bridge, straight through the CBD, pass Police Station ,Cannon Lodge and Century Casino on your right, after app. 400 m turn first right after Blackrock Casino into Hilldrop.
