A lovely cottage that has a double bed and 2 single beds in the loft (exciting for the kids!). All you need to bring is food, drink and warm clothing. Everything else, including firewood and linen, is supplied. The Bush Camp Two separate sleeping areas - total 8. Shower, toilet, preparation area and boma with "Bonfire" fireplace. Mountain views, your own space, self-catering -- and lots of firewood for those cosy evening fires. Braai areas - what more do you need? The Spotted HorseThe Spotted Horse Country Inn is located on the same farm, nestled among 160 acres of Pines, Mountain stream & Paddocks. Each of the 4 guestrooms in this old converted Barn feature their own unique array of double and bunk beds, an en-suite for the Paddock and Stable Rooms and a shared bathroom for the Tack and Bunk House.

Horse Trails Although your horse ride can be customised to suite you, your basic options are... - Day trail - usually lasting about 4 hours.
- 2 day trail - staying overnight in tents in the mountains, or in one of our lovely cottages and riding back the next day.
The trails will be guided by an experienced guide and horseman. There are breathtaking views and all sorts of game - eland , reedbuck, bushbuck, duiker, jackal and wonderful bird life. If you're coming from Pietermaritzburg side, to get to the Kamberg Valley take the Nottingham Road offramp off the N3 Highway.
* Travel through Nottingham Road to Rosetta (8kms)
* Opposite the "Ugly Duckling" (which you will see on your right hand side) turn left onto the Kamberg Road.
* Keep on the tar - 31 kms
* Don't take any of the turn-offs until the Glengarry/Highmoor junction.
* Keep right.
* Cross the Little Mooi River (about 250 m along and unmarked)
* 300 m further on the right you will see our entrance - sign boarded Drakensberg Excursions - you can't miss it!
From Johannesburg
* If you're coming from the Johannesburg side - Take the second turn off the Highway for Mooi River. Head for the Wimpy- close to the Toll. You will see the Rosetta sign - turning left.
* In Rosetta take the Kamberg Road to the right.
* Keep on the tar - 31 kms
* Don't take any of the turn-offs until the Glengarry/Highmoor junction.
* Keep right.
* Cross the Little Mooi River (about 250 m along and unmarked)
* 300 m further on the right you will see our entrance - signboarded Drakensberg Excursions.
