What do our users think20.10.2009 by HA Botha from South Africa- Selfcatering chalets dilapidated. Buildings needs painting and interior "worn" with dirty furniture.Very noisy Saturday night from a party at "conference" hall. Partied till 3am Sunday morning. Left on Tuesday 20/10 and will not be back. Pity because it is a pretty setting. Maybe we are used to better. 06.02.2009 by Paul Kilham from South Africa - 4/5- The self catering chalets - set apart from the main hotel - are great - spacious, serviced daily and well appointed. They have magnificent views of the amphitheatre. BUT - there should be a sign saying that the petrol pump at the gate is out of order. Hiking in the adjacent Royal Natal National Park is awesome, but beware - within 30 minutes a sunny clear day can become a zero visibility rain lashed ice cold nightmare. 18.01.2009 by Selo from South Africa - 2/5- As we drove on the short road to the hotel main gate we were welcomed by potholes that made us wonder about the services we were going to get over the holiday. And for sure it was not what we were hoping for. The hotel has been allowed to run down- most facilities need repair. During our stay it rained and some of the water was flowing along the corridors into the rooms. The bathroom in the room we stayed in was terrible- had a very musty smell and the water from the taps was always dark brown. I recommend some sterilising solution if you plan to stay there!! Play area for kids need upgrading and a proper playroom would help. Staff attitude was good but they need proper and thorough training. Although the food was great i will however definitely not be going back and i will not recommend the place to any of my friends. 27.10.2008 by Mr and Mrs Sandile Ntshangase from South Africa - Durban - 5/5- Orion Staff Thank you very much for your hospitality and the great trouble you went through to find us last-minute accomodation on the nite of the 25th and booked us in room 306. The head-chef was exceptional and the staff very welcoming and friendly. We thank you all very much and will surely be back soon with the rest of the family.
